"You gotta see it before you be it// View it before you do it// Envision it, truly then you'll be living it!// If being successful is what you're looking to do// Remember, whatever you're looking for is looking for you!//" Visualize your highest self, then become that. Let's go. -RD #ComboOfTheDay 4️⃣0️⃣ 🧨🧨🧨
Jab Cross ➡️ Post, Cross ➡️ Post, Fake the Cross ➡️ Hook Low Kick Today’s combo is all about setting up our Hook Low Kick! We begin by throwing 2 straight punches, our Jab Cross. Then we use our Post to pin our opponent’s gloves to their head, and throw another straight punch, our Cross. Notice a pattern yet? We use our Post to pin once again, and what does the opponent expect? Probably a straight Cross right? Wrong. We fake our Cross by twisting our shoulder forward, which loads our Hook and we finish off with our Low Kick! Straight shots open up round strikes, remember that! 🧨 Thanks for checking out our videos! If you enjoyed it, please Like and Share it. Also, please Subscribe to our YouTube channel! People have been asking me a lot of questions lately about what Kickboxing is. There isn’t a lot of clarity. The average person thinks Kickboxing is simply a cardio workout. However, Kickboxing is the most exciting combat sport on the planet, hands down. So this week we break down one of the best Kickboxing fights I’ve ever seen in Van Roosmalen vs Askerov, and show you what real Kickboxing is. From the volume, to the combos, the pace, pressure, and more! Thanks for checking out our videos! If you enjoyed it, please Like and Share it. Also, please Subscribe to our YouTube channel! Jab ➡️ Cross ➡️ Base Leg Low Kick ➡️ Cross ➡️ Hook ➡️ Post ➡️ Cross What’s one great way to land low kicks on your opponent? By throwing hard punches at them! Most people sit down in their stance and brace for impact when getting hard with a hard Jab Cross. By sitting down, that makes them immobile and opens up the Base Leg Low Kick! When throwing the Base Leg Low Kick, make sure you step off the center line to create an angle and follow up with the Cross Hook. After the Hook, re-position your hand to Post on your opponent to prevent them from closing distance on you, and finish this combo off with a hard Cross! 👊 Thanks for checking out our videos! I was so excited to meet Kancho Carbin, as I was fascinated by his Carbin All Style system and all of the great champions he coached. I believe he had trained 49 World Chamions by that time, which is incredible. The knowledge that I gained from his coaching block was mind blowing and his style has an extremely large influence in the Dynamite Kickboxing system. After the seminar was over, I asked if I could have his mitts and he gave them to me along with his autograph! These mitts truly are one of my prized possessions that I have in my miniature Kickboxing Museum. Since then, Kancho Carbin and his protégé Sensei Priscilla have also held a seminar in my old gym in Chicago which was a great honor for me. Once the world settles down a bit, I need to pay Kancho Carbin a visit in Holland and bring him to the US again for another seminar in my new gym! Thank you for the knowledge and inspiration Kancho, OSU! 🥋

Let’s get right into today’s combo shall we? Cross ➡️ Hook ➡️ Hook ➡️ Cross ➡️ Switch Kick What’s nice about this combo is that each strike is setting up the next one! Straight punches open round punches, round punches open straight punches, and striking the head opens the body for the kick! You have to think 2 steps ahead of your opponent, and don’t wait for openings, CREATE your openings! 🧨 Thanks for checking out our videos! If you enjoyed it, please Like and Share it.
